With an ambitious target of 1,000,000 EVs by 2024 and electrification of 100 percent APSRTC buses by 2029, Andhra Pradesh’s focus has remained on promoting research and innovation, incubation and nurturing the start-up ecosystem in the EV sector and ancillary markets. By 2024, the target is to complete the first phase with 100 percent E-buses on the roads of the state’s four largest cities.
Provisions
- 25% of Fixed Capital Investment up to a maximum of ₹15 lakhs for Micro industries, 100% net-State GST accrued to the State will be reimbursed for a period of 5 years
- Reimbursement of registration charges and road tax on sale of Electric Vehicles until 2024,10 lakh EVs by 2024
