Uttar Pradesh

India’s most populous state is encouraging hybrid EVs during kickstart the transition to e-mobility. UP’s policy targets 1 million EVs on the road, and 70% EVs in public transport by 2030. It has also crystalised a target of setting up 200,000 charging stations by 2024. A single window system for all EV and battery related approvals has been proposed to ease procedural formalities.
